It has been said that it takes a village to raise a child. It is our pleasure to introduce you to our village.

Ms. Natasha

Ms. Natasha has always loved the little ones. In 1999 she began her gratifying career in the child care industry working with Chicago’s inner-city youth at the Worldwide Family Center, and volunteering her services to different programs that work with infants and toddlers. In 2008, Natasha transitioned into a new role at a Christian daycare, Granny’s Corner, where a new passion for the care and education of the very young was born.

As she rose in tenure and skill, she also rose in favor. Parents and children, alike, love Ms. Natasha like she is part the family; and she loves them as well. The Director of Granny’s Corner, affectionately known as “Granny,” took notice of her diligence, skill, and rapport and promoted Natasha to the leadership role of Assistant Director. Training for Natasha’s new role groomed her to run all facets of the daycare. She has taken many Early Childhood Education & Development courses and continues to attend the classes, workshops, and seminars in this field. At the end of 2016, Granny announced her retirement, and named Ms. Natasha as her successor.

In 2017, Natasha acquired Granny’s Corner, and though most of the programs and procedures are unchanged, she gave the company a brand new name, “Berry’s Patch!” Natasha’s love for her students and passion for her work burns as strongly today as it did the first day she walked through the door, and she continues in her dedication to provide excellent child care to all of her children.
